At Unique Costa Rica, we are committed to sustainability and environmental protection.

Recycling at Our Properties: At all of our properties, we have established dedicated recycling areas so that our guests can properly separate and recycle their waste. These areas are clearly marked and equipped to facilitate the separation of recyclable materials.
Use of Ecoblocks: We create ecoblocks, which are large bottles filled with recycled plastic, in various construction and renovation projects. This initiative not only helps reduce plastic waste, but also contributes to more sustainable construction projects. PROJECT UNDER DEVELOPMENT.
Beach Clean-Ups: We organize and participate in beach or conservation area clean-ups. We believe in the importance of keeping our beaches clean and free of debris to protect marine life and coastal ecosystems, fostering local support in the community that encourages and motivates each others towards achieving our collective personal bests.
Education and Awareness: We provide information to our guests on how they can help with our sustainability initiatives during their stay. This includes the products we provide as well as recommendations for reducing pollution, energy and water consumption, and how to participate in our recycling and beach cleaning activities.
